What Fashion Show is
Fashion Show is the odd one out on the Strip: a roughly two-million-square-foot mall at 3200 Las Vegas Boulevard that is not attached to a casino at all. It opened in 1981, was rebuilt in the early 2000s with the enormous steel "Cloud" canopy and elevated plaza that face Wynn across the road, and today has about 250 stores anchored by full-line department stores. Because it is a standalone mall, it behaves like one: normal mall hours, a food court, free parking, restrooms every hundred yards and no casino floor between you and the exit. It is the mall locals use, the mall visitors head to when they need something practical, and the easiest place on the Strip to spend two hours without spending much money.
Anchors and stores
The anchors are the reason to come: Macy's, Dillard's, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, which is a stronger department-store lineup than most US cities manage in one building (anchors change; confirm before a specific trip). Around them are the mid-range chains that fill any American mall, Zara, H&M, Uniqlo-style basics, Apple, Sephora, Lululemon, Nike, Abercrombie, Hollister and a long run of shoe stores, plus a scattering of upscale names on the Nordstrom and Neiman side (Louis Vuitton, Kate Spade, Tory Burch, Swarovski). There is a proper luggage store, useful when a suitcase dies, and a Nordstrom Rack-style discount presence has come and gone. The tenant list is large enough that the mall directory app is worth downloading before you go.
Eating, the runway and the plaza
Dining is a mix of sit-down chains and a food court. On the Strip-facing plaza and inside are Maggiano's Little Italy, The Capital Grille (a solid, quieter steakhouse than the casino names), El Segundo Sol (Mexican with a Strip patio), Kona Grill and a couple of casual bar-restaurants; the food court on the upper level covers pizza, noodles, burgers and coffee at prices well below the resorts. The mall's name comes from its retractable runway in the central court, which has hosted free weekend fashion shows for years; frequency varies by season, so check the mall's events page. Hours, getting there and free parking
Fashion Show keeps mall hours, typically around 10 or 11 am to 8 or 9 pm on weekdays, later on Fridays and Saturdays and shorter on Sundays as of 2026, so it closes earlier than the casino malls; check the site before an evening visit. It sits on the west side of the Strip between Spring Mountain Road and the Wynn, with pedestrian bridges to Wynn and to Treasure Island, and it is about a ten-minute walk from The Venetian. Rideshare drop-off and pickup are at the mall's designated points on the Spring Mountain and Fashion Show Drive sides, far easier than at any casino. Who Fashion Show suits
Fashion Show is for people who want to shop rather than sightsee: families who need trainers, a swimsuit or a phone charger; visitors who packed for the wrong weather (a March cold snap sends everyone here for a jacket); business travellers needing a shirt before a meeting; and anyone who finds the casino malls exhausting. It is also the best mall for a rental-car visitor because of the parking. It suits mid-range budgets perfectly and has enough upscale names to make a luxury buyer's afternoon, though the dedicated luxury shopper will prefer Wynn Plaza across the road. It is less interesting for anyone who wants a Las Vegas spectacle; there is no canal and no fountain show, just a very good mall.
Tips
- Start at Nordstrom or Neiman Marcus if you are looking for something specific; the department-store staff know stock across the mall.
- The Cloud plaza faces west, so it is shaded in the morning and roasting in the afternoon in summer.
- Use it as a park-and-walk base: park free, walk the bridge to Wynn, on to Encore and across to The Venetian, and come back through Treasure Island.
- Weekday mornings are dead quiet; Saturday afternoons bring the locals as well as the tourists.
- The mall closes earlier than you think. If you want a 10 pm shopping fix, go to the Forum Shops or Miracle Mile instead.
- Sales tax of roughly 8.375% is added at the till, including on clothing.
