Three promenades, one resort
Wynn and Encore do not have a mall in the conventional sense; they have three connected shopping streets that flow from one resort into the other. The Wynn Esplanade is the original, a curving, carpeted arcade off the Wynn casino that opened with the resort in 2005. Wynn Plaza, added in 2018, is a two-level, 75,000-square-foot addition facing the Strip with its own street entrance and a dramatic marble staircase. The Encore Esplanade continues the route through Encore towards its north tower and the Encore Beach Club entrance. Together they hold around 60 boutiques, almost all of them luxury or fine jewellery, and they are far quieter than any other Strip shopping because the resort deliberately limits the walk-through traffic. It is the most civilised place to shop in Las Vegas.
The brands
Wynn built its retail around the houses that matter. Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Givenchy, Loro Piana, Brunello Cucinelli, Alexander McQueen, Saint Laurent and Moncler have all had boutiques along the promenades, with Cartier, Rolex, Chopard, Graff and Bulgari among the jewellers; Wynn Plaza added contemporary names and large flagships when it opened. Wynn also runs its own boutiques, Wynn & Company Jewelry and the Wynn Collection, selling the resort's own branded goods, which are among the better hotel-logo souvenirs on the Strip. Tenants rotate more slowly here than elsewhere, but they do change, and the resort's shopping page lists the current roster. If your target is a particular Hermès bag or a Rolex model, calling the boutique before you fly is normal here and expected.
Dining along the way
Wynn Plaza's main restaurant is Cipriani, the Venetian-Italian institution with a terrace that looks onto the Strip, and Urth Caffé provides the daytime coffee and pastry stop for the whole north Strip. The Wynn Esplanade passes the resort's restaurant row and the entrances to its big-name dining: SW Steakhouse over the Lake of Dreams, Lakeside, Mizumi, Wing Lei and Sinatra at Encore, all of which are dinner reservations rather than shopping-day lunches, and all of which are among the best on the Strip; see the best restaurants guide. Lighter options exist inside the casinos at both resorts. As of 2026 expect Cipriani mains from around $40 and Urth pastries at ordinary cafe prices. The Lake of Dreams, with its free light show after dark, is a few steps from the Esplanade and the natural end to an evening walk.
Hours, entrances and parking
Boutique hours are typically 10 am to 11 pm as of 2026, with some closing earlier on weeknights; Cipriani and the bars run later. Wynn Plaza has a street entrance directly on Las Vegas Boulevard, opposite Fashion Show Mall and beside the Wynn's main porte-cochère, so you can enter from the Strip without crossing a casino. From inside, follow signs for the Esplanade from the Wynn casino, and for the Encore Esplanade from Encore's registration. The pedestrian bridge from Fashion Show lands almost at Wynn Plaza's door, and the Grand Canal Shoppes are across the Strip at The Venetian. Wynn and Encore have kept self-parking free for everyone as of 2026, one of the last big Strip resorts to do so, which makes the garages a good base for a north-Strip day; confirm on the Wynn site as this can change. Who the Wynn shops suit
This is the luxury buyer's preferred mall: quiet, private, with staff who will open early, close a boutique for an appointment, and courier a purchase to the room. It suits guests of Wynn and Encore obviously, and guests of Resorts World, Fontainebleau, The Venetian and Palazzo who want the calm the Forum Shops cannot offer. It also suits non-buyers who simply want a beautiful walk; the Esplanade's parasols and the Plaza's staircase are gentle on the eyes, and there is no pressure to spend. It does not suit anyone shopping for mid-range clothes, souvenirs or a food court; Fashion Show across the road covers all of that. Families are welcome, but there is nothing here for a child to do beyond the Lake of Dreams show.
Tips
- Ring ahead for specific pieces; boutiques here are used to reserving stock for visiting clients.
- Ask for an appointment at Chanel, Hermès or Louis Vuitton if you are buying seriously; it removes the queue entirely.
- Park at Wynn (free as of 2026) and walk the bridge to Fashion Show, then on to The Venetian: the best three-mall loop on the Strip.
- Urth Caffé before 10 am is the calmest breakfast on the north Strip.
- See the Lake of Dreams show after an evening browse; it runs on a schedule from dusk and is free from the Esplanade-side bar terraces.
- Budget for sales tax of roughly 8.375%; boutiques can ship, and shipping can change the tax position for some buyers. Ask first.
