The resort and the setting
Drai's Beachclub is on the roof of The Cromwell, the small boutique casino-hotel at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, directly across from Bellagio and Caesars Palace. Eleven floors up, it shares its space with Drai's Nightclub: the same deck, pools and cabanas host the dayclub by day and the nightclub after dark. The layout is a long rooftop with two main pools, a stage, daybeds around the water and a line of cabanas along the edge, plus a run of VIP bungalows. What no other dayclub has is the view: the Bellagio fountains, the Eiffel Tower at Paris and the whole center Strip from the rail.
The Cromwell has no other pool, so the beachclub is also the hotel's guest pool during quieter hours; Cromwell guests get access on certain days and times, which is worth confirming with the hotel when booking. Otherwise it is ticketed. Our center Strip guide covers the neighbourhood.
Vibe and crowd
Drai's is hip-hop and R&B first, with live performances by major rappers and singers a regular feature of both the dayclub and the nightclub. The crowd is fashion-conscious, diverse and there for the music and the view rather than swimming; the pools are small by mega-club standards and the deck is compact, so on a big day it is standing-room. Bachelor and bachelorette groups, birthday parties and couples who want a Strip view with a drink all turn up. Weekdays are easier and often the best time to enjoy the rooftop.
Music
Hip-hop, R&B and open-format DJs, with headline live performers on select weekends; Drai's LIVE, the venue's concert series, has hosted many of the biggest names in hip-hop. Some dance-music dates appear too. The calendar is on the Drai's site and lineups are announced well in advance. If live hip-hop is the priority, this and Daylight are the two dayclubs to compare.
Typical cover, tables and cabanas
As of 2026, and check the official site: general admission is typically $20 to $60-plus, with live-performance days higher and guest-list entry available for women and often men on standard days before a cutoff. Daybeds run from a few hundred dollars midweek to about $750 to $1,500 minimum on weekends; cabanas roughly $1,500 to $4,000-plus; bungalows more, and live-performer weekends push everything up. Tax, a service charge of about 20 percent and gratuity are extra. Drai's tends to be a little cheaper than the north-Strip mega-clubs for general admission and comparable for tables.
Dress code and age
21 and over with a valid government photo ID. Swimwear and resort attire; sandals required; no jerseys, baggy or long shorts, cut-offs or overly casual streetwear. The rooftop door leans fashionable, so a decent cover-up and sandals go a long way. Bags are searched; no outside food or drink; no glass.
Best days and timing
Open several days a week in pool season, roughly March or April to October, typically around 11 am to 6 pm, with the nightclub taking over the roof after a reset. Saturday and Sunday are the peak days and live-performance dates are the busiest of all; Friday is strong; weekdays are relaxed. Arrive before noon on weekends, as the elevator and rooftop capacity make the line slow once the deck is full. The location is unbeatable for combining with an afternoon on the center Strip: the Bellagio fountains are across the street and you can walk to a dozen restaurants in ten minutes.
How to book
Tickets, daybeds and cabanas are sold on the Drai's site; table bookings connect you with a host. Cromwell guests should ask the hotel about their access and booking options. Promoters run free guest lists and VIP hosts sell tables with their own margins; confirm the all-in price. Insider tips and what to avoid
- Go for the view, not the swim. The pools are small; if you want to be in the water all day, choose a bigger deck.
- Book a Cromwell room if Drai's is the reason you are in town; it is the only hotel where the dayclub is also your pool.
- Bring sun protection; a rooftop has no trees and the shade is all paid for.
- Check live-performance dates early; tables on those days sell out and prices double.
- Walk, do not rideshare; the Flamingo-Boulevard corner is the worst pickup point on the Strip.
