Las Vegas packing tips
- Comfortable shoes matter most — the Strip is over four miles long and resorts are huge; break shoes in first and pack a second pair.
- Plan for dry heat and cold air-con — summer afternoons top 100°F while casinos and theatres are chilly; carry water and a light layer. See best time to visit.
- Winter nights are cold — desert temperatures drop sharply after dark, so pack a real jacket from November to February.
- Check dress codes and bag rules — nightclubs enforce dress codes, and Sphere, arenas and many shows limit bag size.
